CenTex ASPA is the local area chapter for the national association. CenTex ASPA represents 42 counties, which make up the central Texas region, and include Waco, Austin, San Antonio and College Station. It represents the network of government professionals and educators in the heart of Texas.

Promoting government leadership, Texas State's student chapter competes in a college bowl competition at the state Texas City Managers Association conference, engages in local community events and focuses on the professional development for public administrators.


Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration

NASPAA is a vital global community of over 300 schools of public policy, public affairs, and public administration. The NASPAA-Batten Student Simulation Competition is a day-long event that allows graduate students in public policy and related fields to test their skills on real-world data.
