Eddie Molina is currently retired from Texas State Government. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas (1979) at Austin and a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University (1989) in San Marcos and is an active member of the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Administration. Eddie served as President of the Board for the Central Texas Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Texas State University. In addition, Eddie serves on the Advisory Board for the Certified Public Manager Program at Texas State University.
Mr. Molina served as the Director of the Financial Administration Division for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Previously, he was the Special Assistant to the Deputy Director for Administrative Services and the Director for the Grants and Contracts Management Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Mr. Molina also worked as the Manager for Administration and Logistical Support in the Municipal Solid Waste Division. He served within the Associateship for Environmental and Consumer Health Protection with the Texas Department of Health. All of Eddie's career has been devoted to Public Health and Environmental Health. He was instrumental in the consolidation of environmental regulatory programs from the Texas Department of Health into the Texas Water Commission. Mr. Molina also served as part of the Consolidation Management Team which consolidated the Texas Air Control Board and the Texas Water Commission to form what is now known as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
