Micah earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2005 and his masters in public administration from Texas State University in 2009. Micah began is career in local government in 2006 as an intern in the City Manager’s Office with the City of Kerrville, Texas. Later that year, he was hired by the City of Hutto, Texas, as the Budget and Special Projects Coordinator. In 2009, he was promoted to Director of Finance. He currently serves as the Assistant City Manager.
Micah is an active member of the International City Managers Association (ICMA) and the Texas City Managers Association (TCMA). He was the past recipient of the TCMA Clarence E. Ridley Scholarship in 2007. He serves on the State’s Ethics Committee and also serves as the Treasurer of TCMA Region 7. Previously, Micah served as chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas and is a Certified Government Finance Office (CGFO) through that organization.
In the community, Micah serves as a board member of the United Way of Williamson County and represents the City on the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
